About Jennel
I was born in Prosser and growing up spent my summers and vacations in the valley with my grandparents (Mom’s side). It was from my grandfather that I got my love for horses. My grandfather raised Welsh Ponies and used them for Team Pulling and working them on the farm.
I learned to harness up a team and drive them by age 10 and was saddling up and riding before that. My Grandmother caught me in the pasture at age 3 with string (my reins) and chair trying to get on one of the ponies.
I moved back to Prosser 18 years ago to raise my son, Ryan, who is now in the Navy. I raised my son on a small farm of 5 acres with pigs, chickens, a goat, burrow, horses, dogs, and cats, and growing a garden of vegetables.
For the past ten years I have been working in the wine industry and currently working at Olsen Estates running the office. I have some family history within the wine industry. My Grandpa (Dad’s side) cousin is Vic Allison who worked with Dr. Walter Clore back in the 60′s at the Grandview Winery. My Grandpa also ran the ranch for the winery. Vic Allison went on to become the President and CEO of Chateau Ste. Michelle in the 70′s when it first opened.
Now I am taking what I love, horseback riding, country life and wine, combing them to share with others. Join me and relax while we ride through the scenic countryside in the vineyards.

About Our Horses
Duke
![]()
I got Duke 12 years ago when he was 18 months old and he’s my baby. Duke is a Quarter Horse and is a sorrell (red) with a blaze and 3 white sox. Duke is very friendly and is the first to meet you in the pasture. Duke loves treats and thinks you come out there just to give him some.
Little John
![]()
John is 16 years old and I got him from SOS Equines. His previous owner were moving to a place where they could no longer have horses and needed to find him a home or he would go to the feed lot, which for horses, means they will more than likely be purchased by a kill buyer and shipped to the slaughter house for the meat market in Europe and Asia. John was used by his previous owners for trails and roping. John is also a Quarter Horse and is brown with a blaze and real similar to Duke. John is a sweet pea and would love for you to bring him treats too.
GW
![]()
GW stands for Glowing War and is another SOS Equines horse. GW is a 11 years old Thoroughbred and is the gentlest of the horses. GW is a registered Thoroughbred and did run on the track a few times. The last few years he has been used as a trail horse and is perfect for GiddyUp Tours. You’ll fall in love with GW!
Dakota
Dakota I got from SOS Equines and he is a 13 years old Grey Quarter Horse mix. Dakota has been used as a pack horse and cart horse in the past and will be pulling a wagon for GiddyUp Tours. I am still working on details of Dakota’s duties with the tours but moving towards giving wagon rides in town and maybe romantic evening rides or even as a chauffeur. What do you think Dakota should do? Would love the suggestions.
