It’s so hard to believe that it’s August. Where did the summer go? I thought I would get caught up on what’s been going on.
June we did a ride up at Olsen Brothers Ranches with a couple of gals from the Olympia area and had a nice time. Duke had either a stone bruise or abcess in his foot and I haven’t been able to ride him. The shoer was out this last week and still have to wait two more weeks and do more soaking.
In July, well, July was just to hot to do anything! The weather was in the high 90′s or over 100 for most of the month. So, we just hung out in the sprinklers. My son was home also for the month from the Navy and we took a trip to Sequim for a few days.
Here we are in August and we have another ride next weekend coming up with a couple from England. We are going up to Airport Ranch. At Airport Ranch they have about 26 varietals of grapes and on the ride we will see about 23 of the vareities. It’s a beautiful vineyard and the ride is real easy and relaxing. Everyone and the horses should enjoy it.
I’ve had several inquires for September and a couple of bookings, so if you’re thinking about a ride, get it booked. The grapes are turning color and going gang busters! September will be a great month for a vineyard tour!

Howdy! and welcome to GiddyUp Tours.
This is my first of many postings to come. As soon as the weather warms up a bit more I will be getting the horses conditioned for taking you on a nice ride through the scenic countryside. I like to ride but have to admit I’m a fair weather rider and it’s just been too cold for me.
Please visit often as the website will be changing on a regular basis while I am fine tuning it. If you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them. You can subscribe so as I make changes you will be notified.
Thanks for stopping by!
